2021 at First Aid for All

There is no denying 2021 has been a very, very, very difficult year, BUT let’s focus on the positives for First Aid for All and the work we’ve done to help people save a life.

Our team

Internally, we’ve welcomed back Tameka (Business Support) who has returned to work after maternity leave. Congratulations on the new baby and we know the paediatric first aid course she and her partner attended prior to the birth will ensure they are equipped to deal with emergencies.

We welcome Shauna (Social Media Manager) to the team. Shauna has already attended our 2-day Mental Health & Wellbeing course, and will be attending a first aid course very soon. Shauna looks forward to interacting with customers past and present on our social media channels: Facebook and Twitter.

All staff at First Aid for All can and do attend the courses we deliver.

Our courses and our clients

Across the year we’ve trained 400+ people per month in many different types of business, from schools and universities to construction businesses, banks, transport, charities, hotels, sports and social clubs. More recently this year we’ve been delivering training to new and emerging sectors and businesses such as artificial intelligence, internet businesses, and environmental services.

Some of the businesses we’ve delivered first aid training to include Amazon, North West Ambulance Service, Tameside Council, Gulliver’s World, CityCo, and McDonalds, to name a few. We’ve delivered them all over the UK including in Manchester, Preston, Eastbourne, London, Chester, Blackpool, and Calderdale (Yorkshire).

We’ve continued to update and refresh our courses and deliver them via online training where required, including live streaming our Mental Health courses from our training room so people can have the benefits of classroom training.

In 2021 we also became members of CityCo in Manchester. CityCo help members improve business and the city centre for the benefit of businesses, staff, and visitors. They have been heavily involved in ensuring all parts of the city centre will have public access to AED/Defibs and severe bleed first aid kits.

To 2022:

In 2022 we are hoping to deliver new first aid training courses in more parts of the UK, namely Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, and South Wales.

We will continue to update our resources on the new public access trauma kits as more information is released on the life-saving kits.

We also look forward to continuing our work as Working Minds champions.
